Mounties in Nanaimo, B.C., have confirmed that a missing man has been found safe, one day after it sent out a public alert concerning his disappearance.
Police had expressed concern for the wellbeing of the 38-year-old, whose “recent behaviour and comments” lead them to fear for his safety.
He had not been seen or heard from since July 21 but was known to visit trails that led to the ocean around his neighbourhood in Nanaimo. Police said Wednesday he had been located.
