Recipe: Savoury Bread by Chef Christèle Albert
150 g flour
10 g baking powder
80 ml vegetable oil
125 ml milk
50 g grated cheese
Additional flavourings could be bacon, onions, leek, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, herbs, spices – sauté before adding to cake batter.
Mix flour, baking powder, salt & pepper. Blend in beaten eggs, then milk, then oil, and cheese & other flavourings last. Bake (in a greased and floured pan) for about 30 minutes at 350F until top is golden.
Rest 10 minutes before slicing and consuming!
