Several Good Samaritans rushed to help a man who had been stabbed outside a Vancouver restaurant Sunday night.
One of the Good Samaritans suffered a small stab wound herself in the process.
Vancouver Police say at about 9:30 p.m. it is believed a 31-year-old man, seated on the patio, became involved in a verbal altercation with a 32-year-old man passing by the restaurant.
This verbal altercation escalated into a physical one, which led to the 32-year-old man being stabbed.
The Good Samaritans were able to hold the suspect for police until they arrived.
The 32 year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment and remains in stable condition. The 27 year-old woman also went to the hospital for treatment.
Police say the 31 year-old male suspect has been arrested for aggravated assault and is currently in police custody.
