Police say the man suffered stab wounds to his back and hands, and there are indications one of the suspects was carrying a sword and another was carrying pepper spray.

The victim is in Royal Columbian Hospital recovering from injuries that are described as non-life threatening. The three suspects involved in the attack have been vaguely described as:

Suspect 1: male, approximately 5’9″, wearing white sweater, black track pants and orange sneakers.

Suspect 2: male, approximately 5’9″, wearing a black jacket and dark toque.

Suspect 3: male, approximately 5’9″, wearing dark clothing

The exact motive for the violence is also unclear but police say there is some indication there was an ongoing dispute between the victim and possibly one of the suspects.
