Macleod Trail crash during afternoon storm sends 1 to hospital in life-threatening condition

A two-vehicle collision left one person in life-threatening condition late Monday afternoon.

Police said the two vehicles collided around 4 p.m. while heading southbound on Macleod Trail past Canyon Meadows Boulevard.

The southbound lane of Macleod Trail was temporarily shut down at Canyon Meadows Boulevard but reopened in the hours following the crash.
