Mumford’s credits include guest-starring roles on Mercy, Law & Order: SVU and Crash. Her theater credits include Speed the Plow, Red Beads, The Good Person of Szechwan, Macbeth and The Women. She also worked with the Capital Playhouse in Olympia, Washington, where she starred in La Cage Aux Folles, Jane Eyre, Me and My Girl and Annie Get Your Gun. Mumford enjoys hiking, mountain climbing and sailing. She has also played the piano since she was six years old. Between high school and college, Mumford taught English to children in a tiny village in Transylvania, Romania. The time she spent there greatly affected her, and she maintains a close relationship with the village. Eloise Mumford graduated with high honors from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she was awarded both the J.S. Seidman Award for outstanding achievement in drama and the Founders’ Day Award for academic excellence.
