TORONTO — The famous Wahlberg brothers — Mark, Donnie — are set to star in a new reality series about their family restaurant business, Wahlburgers.
Donnie Wahlberg revealed Monday the show, entitled Wahlburgers, will debut Jan. 22 on A&E.
“It’s incredible,” he said on the Arsenio Hall Show. “It’s going to be a lot of fun.”
The siblings, who partnered with their brother Paul and mother Alma to open a Wahlburgers restaurant in the Boston area, announced earlier this year a second location will open in Toronto in 2014.
Donnie is executive producer and narrator of another reality show, Boston’s Finest, which is currently in its second season on U.S. cable channel TNT. It airs in Canada on Bravo.
“We’re thrilled to partner with the entire Wahlberg family as they graciously lift the curtain to share this new side of their story,” said David McKillop, executive vice president and general manager of A&E Network, in a statement.
