Police said the crash happened in the southbound Highway 410 lanes near Highway 407 at around 11 p.m.
The crash was between two vehicles: a minivan and an SUV.
Police said the driver of the minivan struck the SUV, causing both drivers to lose control, veering into the ramp lanes to Highway 407.
“The minivan crashed through a concrete wall and rolled over onto the ditch next to the ramp lanes,” police said. “The SUV came to rest on the on the ramp lanes to Highway 407.”
In the minivan, police said a 23-year-old driver suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
The passenger in that vehicle — another man — was pronounced dead at the scene and remains unidentified, police said.
