Two women who the Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) were searching for have been in contact with police.

On Tuesday morning, SPS sent out a release with a renewed request for the public’s assistance in locating Martina St. Pierre, 34, and Andrea Sanderson, 49, described as persons of interest.

SPS stated they are believed to have information to offer investigators following a 2022 shooting.

The SPS serious assault unit is continuing to investigate a shooting that occurred in November 2022.

“A 15-year-old girl was walking in the area of 20th Street West and Avenue Q South with her family when a white sedan with multiple people inside pulled up next to the victim and shot her,” police stated.

“At the time, she was transported to hospital for treatment of her non-life-threatening injuries.”

Police thank members of the public and the media for their assistance in this matter.

The investigation continues, anyone with relevant information is asked to contact 306-975-8300 or anonymous information can be provided to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
