CARAQUET, N.B. – RCMP say a 29-year-old New Brunswick man has been handed a one year jail sentence for trafficking in methamphetamine.
Mathieu Reginald Plantain of Lameque was sentenced Thursday in Caraquet provincial court.

Plantain had previously pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.
He was charged after a police search in August found methamphetamine pills along with marijuana and cocaine.
