CALGARY – A 30-year-old motorcyclist was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries early this morning after he lost control and wiped out on Northmount Drive N.W.
Calgary police said the man was riding alone about 1 a.m. when his motorcycle jumped the south curb and he crashed, sustaining serious injuries.
The man didn’t appear to be wearing a helmet at the time, and alcohol is believed to be a factor, police said in a press release today.
Anyone who witnessed the accident is asked to contact the Calgary Police service traffic section.
