Police are investigating after someone was shot in Toronto on Tuesday.
Toronto police said they were called to Bathurst and Stewart streets for reports of a shooting on Tuesday afternoon.
The shooting was reported around 5:15 p.m.
Police said a man was found with injuries. Toronto paramedics told Global News one patient had serious injuries but was in stable condition.
Speaking to reporters at the scene, Acting Insp. Jason Albanese said the scene was located somewhere in the Portland and Stewart streets area.

He said the victim was a 27-year-old man, who was in serious but stable condition after being rushed to hospital under an emergency run.
Police, however, have been unable to locate a scene for the shooting or suspect information, he said. Albanese said it was a “challenging incident” to investigate, as officers canvassed the area for witnesses and video footage that may help them.
Toronto police said residents should use caution in the area. Anyone with information is asked to contact Toronto police or Crime Stoppers.
