Toronto Hydro says all power restored in Scarborough after ‘large’ outage reported

Toronto Hydro says power has been restored to customers in Scarborough after an outage on Thursday afternoon.

In a tweet at around 2:40 p.m., Toronto Hydro said it was responding to an outage affecting customers in the areas of Sheppard Avenue South to St. Clair Avenue and Birchmont Road east to Bellamy Road.

In an update just before 4 p.m., Toronto Hydro said along with Hydro One, crews were able to restore all power to the Scarborough area.

“If your’re still without power, please report it to our dispatch team directly by calling 416-542-8000 (press 1),” Toronto Hydro said in a tweet.
