MONTREAL – Denis Coderre was just elected mayor of Montreal on Sunday and already the Twittersphere is buzzing with jokes, comments and everything in between.
The latest is a new online trend called “#Coderring.”
It’s been making the rounds on social media since late Sunday night.
The joke started when Quebec newspaper, La Presse posted this photo of Denis Coderre casting his ballot with a wink and open-mouthed expression.

Now the trend on Twitter is to tweet out selfies (self-portraits) imitating his face.
