SASKATOON – A dial-a-dope ring has been busted in Saskatoon following a three week investigation by members of the drug enforcement street team.

It came to an end when police tried to stop a vehicle in 2400-block of 22nd Street West on Wednesday evening believed to be involved in the drug trade.

Instead, the driver took off.

Police located the vehicle a short time later in the 1600-block of 33rd Street.

Two people, a 19-year-old man from Edmonton and a 25-year-old man from Vancouver, were arrested.

Three homes, two in Saskatoon and one in Martensville, were then searched. Police seized drugs, cell phones, cash and paraphernalia associated with the drug trade at a residence in the 1100-block of Hargreaves Crescent.

The duo are facing numerous charges including drug possession and trafficking. They are scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.

Police are searching for a third man believed to be involved in the ring and have requested a warrant for his arrest.
