Missing Kenaston man found dead

A 60-year-old man from Kenaston, Sask., who went missing Tuesday afternoon was found dead on Wednesday.

Saskatoon RCMP said Jack Crouch and another man were travelling in the area of Highway 15 between Watrous and Kenaston when their vehicle got stuck in the snow.

The man walked to find help, and the whereabouts of Crouch were unknown at the time.

A search and rescue plane was sent out and found a dead person on a non-maintained road roughly one kilometre away from a red vehicle that looked abandoned.

Officers were able to get out to the area and confirm the dead person was Crouch, who had no physical signs of trauma.

Police say the investigation determined there were no signs of criminality.
