A Kelowna woman has been cleared on a murder charged after a judge dismissed evidence put forward by the Crown prosecutor.
Sherri Kipling was charged with second degree murder in the death of Joe Pek.
Pek, 38, was stabbed outside a Kelowna home in October 2009 after being told to leave.
The 21-year-old accused has been released from custody after the judge ruled Kipling’s original admission of guilt was not admissible evidence.
