Out with the old in with the new: Two way traffic changes in Regina’s downtown

If you’re headed to Regina’s downtown, you’ll see some new changes that are beginning to take effect this week.

11th and 12th avenue and Cornwall street in Regina’s downtown have officially gone from one way to two way streets.

People have both agreed and disagreed with the changes, but all in all the City say’s it is designed to increase traffic flow in our cities downtown and encourage people to experience the heart of Regina.

Some of the concerns include traffic accidents, confusion and the effect it could have on local business owners.

City Officials will be downtown throughout the week to help motorists with the changes and give individuals a chance to get acquainted with the new two way streets.
