A hit on Glover late in the third period of Wednesday’s blowout against the Hurricanes, proved costly.

Glover awkwardly fell, snapping his ankle in the process.

Coach Ryan Huska confirmed the 17-year-old suffered a broken ankle and went in for surgery Friday.

The surgery was a success but the road to recovery will be a lengthy one. Glover is expected to be out anywhere from two to four months.
