TORONTO – A 15-year-old boy delivering newspapers suffered non-life threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Scarborough Friday morning.
The call came in around 7 a.m. about a pedestrian being hit by a van near the intersection of Birchmount Road and Danforth Road.

Initial reports indicated the boy was stuck under the vehicle but was quickly removed by emergency crews.
The boy was taken to hospital with broken bones and facial injuries.
