EDMONTON- The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) has arrested a man in connection with eight drive-by personal robberies that happened between Oct. 10 and 17.

Police had said men walking alone were targeted by an individual who would approach them in a vehicle, and demand personal belongings from them.

An investigation into the robberies has led to the arrest of 22-year-old Jessie Paul Springer.

Police said all the robberies took place between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., and that none of the victims were injured.

“All of the complainants did the right thing,”  said Acting Det. Mike Kluthe with Southwest Division. “They all complied with the demands of the suspect, and called police.”
