Man injured in Clayton Park work site accident

HALIFAX – An investigation is underway after a workplace accident in Clayton Park.

Around 10:20 a.m. on Friday, emergency crews were called to a site on Green Park Close after a 25-year-old worker tumbled several metres off some scaffolding.

Cst. Pierre Bourdages of the Halifax Regional Police said the worker sustained leg injuries, but they are not life-threatening.

Bourdages said the man was taken to hospital by ambulance.

The investigation has been turned over to the Department of Labour.
