TORONTO – Police are out in full force on the roads this Thanksgiving weekend making sure you arrive alive.
Police have launched Operation Impact, Canada’s largest annual road safety campaign which takes place every Thanksgiving.
The Ontario Provincial Police will be raising awareness about the four biggest problems that cause accidents on our roads such as impaired driving, distracted driving, not wearing seat belts, and aggressive driving.
Police say these four things were responsible for 182 of the 213 deaths on Ontario roads so far in 2013.
