Man seriously injured after being stabbed while waiting for bus in Mississauga: police

A man has serious injuries after he was stabbed while waiting for a bus in Mississauga early Friday, police say.

Peel Regional Police said the incident happened in the area of Creditview Road and Duval Drive, near Britannia Road West, at 4:50 a.m.

Police said a 21-year-old Mississauga man was waiting for a bus when he was approached by an unknown suspect and stabbed.

The victim was taken to a trauma centre with non-life-threatening injuries.

In an update just before 7 p.m., officers said a suspect had been arrested.
