Bombers add players to practice roster

WINNIPEG — The Blue Bombers have added import offensive lineman Shea Allard, import wide receiver Jheranie Boyd, import linebacker Taylor Reed, import defensive back Semaj Moody and import defensive end Jake Killeen to their practice roster as CFL teams were allowed to expand their rosters today.

The club also announced they have released non-import kicker Brody McKnight.

All five players were never drafted by NFL teams but all received a look.

Allard was twice signed and released by the Green Bay Packers, Boyd spent time in the camp of both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cincinnati Bengels. Reed was signed and later released by the Dallas Cowboys, while Killeen was signed and then waived by the Indianapolis Colts. Moody played in the Arena Football League with the Chicago Rush and was signed and then cut by the Kansas City Chiefs.
