CALGARY- A horrific crash in southeast Calgary has killed a child, and sent three people to hospital in serious condition.
It happened just after 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of the north leg of Erin Woods Drive and 52 Street.

Witnesses say a truck was speeding and ran a red light, crashing into the minivan with a man, woman and child inside. The child died at the scene, while the parents were rushed to hospital along with the male truck driver.
Aerial shots showed the truck laying on its roof just past the intersection.
Erin Woods Drive was shut down in both directions at 52 Street, for the investigation.
