Say it ain’t snow! Snow falls west of Calgary

CALGARY- It looks like summer’s over, folks.

Despite a scorching weekend where temperatures were in the high 20’s, the ‘white stuff’ is getting closer.

On Wednesday, snow fell in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park in Kananaskis, while the hill was also getting blanketed at Banff’s Sunshine Village. The ski hill got 2 centimetres of snow on Wednesday.

However, Calgary should be safe from a snowfall for at least the next week, with the sun expected to come out again by Thursday.
