TORONTO – Warning for pet owners: watch out where you leave your underwear.

A new survey by pet food company Petcurean found that despite having their pets’ food interests at heart, many Canadian dog and cat owners have trouble keeping their furry companions from snacking on household items.

The survey also found that, for the most part, pet owners have a good handle on what the worst treats are for their pets.

While  experts  often warn that these food items can be toxic, only five per cent of pet owners have fed their animals chocolate while seven per cent of them have fed them grapes.
