A 13-year-old skateboarder sustained life-threatening head injuries after he ran a red light and was struck by a car at the intersection of 202 Street and 64 Avenue in Langley at approximately 1 p.m. Sunday.

“He had no crosswalk light, nothing,” Cpl. Holly Marks told Global News. “He totally crossed on a red and then collided with a car that had the green light.”
Marks says the driver stayed on scene and was very cooperative.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to call the Langley RCMP.
