EDMONTON- The body of an Edmonton man, who went missing in the Athabasca River earlier this week, was recovered Saturday morning.
RCMP say the 22-year-old went missing on Monday, September 2, near the Klondike Ferry.

Crews were searching the Athabasca River when the man’s body was found around 11:40 a.m. Saturday. RCMP say the victim’s body was located about five kilometres downstream from where he initially went missing.
Family members have identified the man. His name has not been released.
RCMP say foul play is not suspected.
