Gibsons resident Dean Cockerill is the lucky winner of the 2013 PNE Prize Home.
The winner was announced during a draw on Thursday, in the middle of a thunderstorm moving through the region.

Officials are the PNE were not able to get him on the phone, but he will be notified of the win soon.
This is the 79th PNE Prize Home, with the interior of the home designed by Jillian Harris, a B.C. designer and former star of the ‘Bachelorette.’
Cockerill will get the home fully furnished.
The house is 3,000 square feet, with three bedrooms, four bathrooms, two-levels, and is located at Sun Peaks Resort.
The home will travel on flatbed trailers to Sun Peaks and be reassembled there.
