Seven motorists were ticketed for travelling over 90 km/h in a construction zone.

“Photo enforcement is an important part of our strategy to keep Saskatchewan highway workers safe, and with several weeks left in our busy construction season, we ask that drivers follow all speed signs and use extreme caution in work zones,” said McMorris.

The technology uses a laser to record a vehicle’s speed and operators can view photos on scene to determine if it should be sent to the RCMP.
