NORTH BATTLEFORD, Sask. – Three people appeared in provincial court after a young man was shot in North Battleford, Sask. on Sunday.
On Sunday morning, RCMP were called to a possible attempted murder in the area of Diefenbaker Drive and St Laurent Drive in that city.
An injured male, in his 20′s, was found and taken to Battleford Union Hospital and then transferred to Saskatoon for further care.

Three suspects were arrested on Sunday.
Valen Nicotine, Justin Fineday and a young offender appeared in court on Tuesday charged with a number of weapons-related offences.
They have been charged with use of a firearm in the commission of an aggravated assault, pointing a firearm, possession of a prohibited weapon, unsafe storage of a firearm, possession of a prohibited weapon in a motor vehicle and carrying a concealed weapon.
Other charges for the accused included possession of stolen property and committing an indictable offence with a masked or disguised face.
These charges have been adjourned until Sept. 18.
