CALGARY – A woman is fighting for her life after a serious crash in the city’s northwest, Sunday night.

Police say a Toyota Tundra was traveling northbound on 14th Street N.W. when it T-boned a westbound car that ran a stop sign at 21st Avenue N.W.

The impact of the crash threw both vehicles at least 20 meters from where they collided.

The 49-year-old driver of the car sustained life-threatening injuries, while the 30-year-old driver of the Toyota was uninjured.

Police say neither alcohol or speed appear to be factors in the collision.
