That’s exactly what happened last week when leaked photos of the proposed TTC uniforms were criticized by employees who argued they were too similar to the colours of the Montreal Canadiens hockey team.

To offer a fresh view on the issue, The Morning Show asked three fashion students from Ryerson University to re-imagine what they thought would be a more modern take on the current public transit uniforms.

Diana Dan Li, Theresa Wilson and Elizabeth Chung were able to use the TTC’s brand new streetcar fleet as an inspiration to their new designs.
