Calgary man dies scuba diving in Waterton

CALGARY – RCMP say they are in the process of investigating a scuba diving death in Waterton Lakes National Park.

A 56-year-old Calgary man was scuba diving with a group in Upper Waterton Lakes near the park townsite on Saturday, when he was found unconscious in the water by another diver.

The man was taken to shore where attempts to resuscitate him proved unsuccessful.

His name has not yet been released.
