The Calgary Police Service says a 12-year-old girl who went missing on Thursday has been found safe.
The girl was last seen leaving her Ranchlands home between 2:30 a.m. and 3:10 a.m.

When she disappeared, police said there was nothing to indicate foul play was involved.
“Although this case does not meet the threshold of an Amber Alert, we are working with our partners at the Missing Children Society of Canada to issue a notice in hopes of locating (the girl),” a news release stated.
Shortly after 12 p.m., police issued an update saying the girl had been located.
