Bloc Québécois candidate Caroline Desbiens is the projected winner in the riding of Beauport—Côte-de-Beaupré—Île d’Orléans—Charlevoix.
The Quebec riding consists of the counties of L’Île-d’Orléans, La Côte-de-Beaupré, Charlevoix-Est and Charlevoix.
It also has a portion of the borough of Beauport in Quebec City. It extends to the St. Lawrence River.
The riding was a Bloc Québécois stronghold until the NDP’s Jonathan Tremblay won in 2011.
Bloc Québécois member Caroline Desbiens beat Conservative incumbent Sylvie Boucher, who had held the seat since 2015, with 36.4 per cent of the vote in the 2019 federal election.
As of 2016, the riding has a population of 93,674.
