Jordan wins Big Brother 11!

What an absolutely thrilling and amazing night. As a fan of the show since the very first episode 10 years ago, it was amazing to be standing in the Big Brother backyard speaking with the crew from BB, former and current houseguests. From start to finish, this night was amazing.

LA has treated me very well and I’m sad to be leaving tomorrow. I’m not ready to go and it has gone by really quickly. I’ve enjoyed seeing the city, and doing some shopping but I’ve also met a lot of friendly people who are really willing to share their story with me. It’s been a ton of fun and I’m so happy I had the chance to come.

But now, back to business. JORDAN WON! Oh wow! It was so great to be at the CBS studios watching the show with families of houseguests, former BB contestants and other BB fans, and hearing them cheer, applause and boo when something happened.

.

I left the hotel around 3:30 p.m to get to the CBS studios at Studio City, North Hollywood. The cabbie who took me there had no idea where he was going, couldn’t drive and I’m pretty sure his car was stolen. When I finally got to the check in, guess who I saw – Chelsia from season 9. I actually ended up chatting with her later on, and she’s a lot of fun and really down to earth.

Once I checked in, we were led down the stairs where they had set up a really big area with tables, food, drinks and of course two big screens to watch the show on. I was one of the first people there (eager beaver), and saw Diane from season five and all-stars. She looked super sweet and super hot so I instantly introduced myself, and she was awesome! She was there to conduct interviews with the houseguests as well. We ended up chatting and sitting at the same table, and we were later joined by James from season 6 and all stars, Chelsia, and Erika came over as well. I saw Evel Dick come in, but he thinks he’s too good for everyone so he didn’t really want to talk. Kayser from season 6 and all-stars was there as well, but he seems completely different from his Big Brother days. It was so cool seeing all these people that I had watched on TV every single summer, and see them act and talk like normal, everyday people. Although, that’s exactly what they are. It’s nice to see that some have remained friends still, and are even friends with others from a different season than their own.

Diane told me a lot about her time in the house, and how boring it can get in the Big Brother house. She said it’s so easy to gain weight because all you do is just eat. She said she keeps in touch with some of the houseguests, but not all.

I also got the scoop that production does indeed tailor some questions or scenarios for what they want to get out of a houseguest.

The two hour show went by REALLY fast, and everyone at the party was really into it. I was so nervous watching Jordan win the HoH, and then answer the jury questions, I can only imagine what it was like for her. Everybody felt the same sentiments about Natalie. They just plain didn’t like her.

Guess who I also saw at the party….Ronnie’s wife. She’s actually very nice and sweet looking. Ronnie looked just as dorky as you can imagine he would look. He even talked in-depth about his World of Warcraft game during our interview. I had to fake a smile and pretend like I knew what he was talking about.

And then it came down to finding out who the winner was, and when the vote came out 5-2 that Jordan won, the crowd went wild!

Shortly after, I followed Diane to the backyard, because the CBS studios are huge and I had no idea where I was going. It was so surreal walking into the BB backyard that we’re so used to watching on TV. My first thought was, omg it’s so small. And then I saw the familiar pool, jacuzzi and hammock.

Each press member had their own little area where they would conduct interviews, and I was all by lonesome so I had to juggle a video camera, photo camera, notepad and tape recorder by myself. But Jeff held my tape recorder for me ;) SWOON!

My impressions of the houseguests : Laura is really cool, Braden is nice but seemed a little out of it. I loved Casey, he was such a cool guy. Russell was ok, he seems fun to hang around with but you can tell he thinks highly of himself. Jordan is even prettier and sweeter in real life. Natalie is just Natalie. I loved Kevin, he was so much fun. Jessie was…..Jessie? Cocky and thought everybody loved him. Michele was really great, I really liked her and she’s lost 20 pounds. She looks really good! Lydia was surprisingly nice to talk to, she wasn’t as crazy as I thought she was going to be.

And then there’s my love, Jeff. Let me just say that he could have gone home with ANY of the girls there tonight. There wasn’t a single reporter, blogger, media relations person in the backyard that wasn’t swooning over Jeff. I couldn’t help staring at his blue eyes when I was interviewing him. I wanted to ask him to take his shirt off but I thought that might be a little too much…I also wanted to ask him to come back to my hotel room, but that would have been unprofessional too I suppose.

Ok, that’s all I’ve got for now. I hope you enjoyed all my tweets from the studios. I’ve got lots of photos and videos to upload that I’m sure you’ll enjoy watching :)

I tried to get to as many of your questions as possible, and I hope you’ll find all your questions answered.

Check out a preview of the photo gallery, there will be more to come but this is a good selection from the night. Click here
