Major subway closures ahead for this weekend

TORONTO – There will be no subway service from St. George around Union to Bloor-Yonge Stations all weekend as crews conduct signal installation work along those routes.

All trains on the University-Spadina subway will turn back north at St. George Station and those on the Yonge subway will turn back north at Bloor-Yonge Station.

Shuttle buses will runs between St. George, St. Andrew, King, and Bloor-Yonge stations.

The Bloor-Danforth Subway will remain open.

Service is expected to be complete by Monday morning.
