The Celebration of Light wrapped up with a bang Saturday night in Vancouver, with around 350,000 people crowding into the city to catch Thailand’s finale.
Even with the large crowd, boosted by the long weekend, police said the night went fairly smoothly.

Const. Brian Montague said the crowd was generally positive and well behaved.
As usual, there were hundreds of alcohol pour-outs and several arrests for intoxication, but there were no major problems.
