de la Fuente has certainly had a busy year. His work continues to show his versatility as both a comedic and dramatic actor. Recently, he had a recurring role on Side Order of Life. He guested on PSYCH and had a recurring role on Ugly Betty. De la Fuente recurred as Aaron, boyfriend to Kyle Lendo portrayed by Sean Maguire on The Class.

He recently starred in Como Ama Una Mujer (How a Woman Loves), executive produced by Jennifer Lopez. The five-hour musical, drama, mini-series has some J.Lo autobiographical elements and even though she did not act in the mini-series she appeared at the end of each episode and sang one of her songs from her new album, Como Ama una Mujer.

de la Fuente is the first male to grace the cover of Cosmopolitan En Espanol, in the November 2006 issue. He was named 50 most beautiful by People Magazine En Espanol three times and in 1999 in the domestic People.

de la Fuente was a series regular on the series Family Law, the series Gated Community and the show Bad Girls Guide. He had recurring roles on One on One, CSI: Miami and Hidden Hills. On ABC, he guest starred as Kelly Ripa’s love interest on Hope and Faith. He played an AFI agent on Threat Matrix and co-starred opposite Kim Delaney in the made for TV movie, Infidelity. He was also a series lead on the episodic Reyes Y Rey.

He executive produced and starred in the foreign film El Nominado which was chosen as one of the films to be showcased at the New York Latin Film Festival, Los Angeles Film Festival, Miami and San Diego Latin Film Festivals. He was named one of the top ten actors to watch. de la Fuente’s first film, Driven, where he co-starred opposite Sylvester Stallone, opened to number one at the box office. He also starred opposite John Travolta and Samuel Jackson in the hit movie Basic and Vampiros Los Muertos opposite Jon Bon Jovi. More recent films include Once Upon a Wedding opposite Esai Morales and Suenos opposite John Leguizamo.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, de la Fuente is an adventurous spirit and an avid sportsman. He enjoys tennis, boxing, skiing, golfing, and weight training. In 1996, he received his pilots’ license and is an officer in the reserves in the Chilean Air Force.

de la Fuente resides in Los Angeles with his wife Angelica Castro and their daughter.
