Annabella Sciorra received an Emmy® nomination for her highly acclaimed performance in the role of Gloria Trillo on The Sopranos. Subsequent television credits include a 12-episodes stint as Detective Carolyn Barek on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, a trio of episodes of The L Word, two episodes of ER and a regular role on Mental.

Her film credits include Sidney Lumet’s Find Me Guilty, Michael Cuesta’s Twelve & Holding, Spike Lee’s Jungle Fever, Curtis Hanson’s The Hand That Rocks The Cradle, Anthony Minghella’s Mr. Wonderful, Abel Ferrara’s The Addiction and The Funeral, Noah Baumbach’s Mr. Jealousy, Mike Figgis’ Internal Affairs, Barbet Schroeder’s Reversal of Fortune, and James Mangold’s Copland.

Additional film credits include What Dreams May Come, Romeo is Bleeding, Domenica, Whispers in the Dark, The Night We Never Met, The Hard Way, Once In The Life, Chasing Liberty, King of the Jungle, Cadillac Man, The Cure and Sam The Man.

For her leading performance in her film debut, True Love, Annabella received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Actress. Her stage work in New York includes appearances in Joseph Papp’s productions at the Nuyorican Poets Café, where she worked extensively with writer/director Reinoldo Povod.
