The Ministry of Environment is investigating what they say is a small leak in one of the bunker fuel pipelines at Watson Island.
It is estimated that less than three to four litres of fuel has leaked in total so far.

A spokesperson said a spill response expert is on site and is leading the response in support of the site owner, the City of Prince Rupert.
The ministry has also contracted an engineering firm and they are on site today to develop a plan to stop the leak.
