As the bawdy and insightful counterpart to the lab-ful of "squints" on Bones, Michaela Conlin is a dynamic presence; TV Guide’s top critic Matt Roush has blogged about her being "good enough to deserve her own show."
Upon graduating with a B.F.A. degree from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Conlin was chosen to be a part of Bravo’s documentary series The It Factor, which focused on the lives of young actors in New York City. By the time the series aired, Conlin had already paved her own way to Los Angeles and landed a starring role on the drama MDs. She followed with another lead role in The D.A., as an outspoken political consultant.
In film, Conlin has appeared as Adrien Brody’s lover in the Sundance favorite Love the Hard Way, and as confidante to Robin Tunney in the acclaimed independent film Open Window.
