In the Elevator: Fehlandt Lentini

Goldeyes outfielder Fehlandt Lentini is independent baseball’s all-time leader in stolen bases. He joined us on the Morning News to talk about his 332nd steal, which set the record.

According to Baseball Reference, Lentini has stolen 410 bases in his career (independent and organized baseball combined) along with a .311 average and almost 1,200 games played.

But did you know that Lentini appeared as a pitcher one time in his 13 years in the pros? We talked to him In the Elevator about that one night in Maui in the now-defunct Golden Baseball League.

Lentini’s career pitching stats: 1 inning pitched, 2 hits allowed, 0 runs allowed, ERA of 0.00
