LAKESHORE, Ont. – Provincial police have arrested a Lakeshore, Ont., father whose minivan – carrying his four young children – collided with a train last summer, killing his two daughters and leaving one son with serious injuries.
Andrew Williams faces multiple charges in connection with the crash that took place June 10 last year at an uncontrolled railway crossing on a country road.

Police say there were no traffic lights, railroad crossing signals or a crossing barrier – just an X-sign that indicated the railroad crossing.
Williams, 28, has been charged with two counts each of criminal negligence causing death, criminal negligence causing bodily harm, dangerous operation causing death and dangerous operation causing bodily harm.
Three-year-old Brooklyn Williams and six-year-old Wynter Williams were killed when the train crashed into their vehicle.
Their brother Dryden, who was four at the time, suffered serious injuries which police say will affect him for the rest of his life.
