A heat wave in China has killed more than 10 people.

According to local health officials, temperatures are projected to climb to almost 106 °F ( 40 °C) in more than 40 cities this month.

Shanghai, China’s commercial hub, continues to swelter in its highest temperatures in at least 140 years.
