Officer involved in Taser-related death of Robert Dziekanski found not guilty

The least experienced officer involved in the Taser-related death of Robert Dziekanski has been found not guilty of perjury.

Constable Bill Bentley was involved in the death of Dziekanski at the Vancouver International Airport in October 2007.

The charges stem from testimony he gave at the Thomas Braidwood inquiry two years ago.

Bentley, and three other officers have been accused of corroborating their story to justify what turned out to be an excessive use of force.
