Woman arrested in connection to London, Ont., stabbing: police

London, Ont., police are in the early stages of an investigation into a stabbing in the 500-block of Dundas Street.

Police say at approximately 8:15 a.m. Tuesday they received a 911 for a potential stabbing.

Police say a man was allegedly inside of his apartment building when he observed an unknown female.

According to police the man was familiar with the occupants of the building, and asked the woman to leave, as he was aware that she was not a resident.

Police say the two then became involved in an argument, and the victim was stabbed by the woman.

The suspect fled the area and a description of the suspect was provided to police. Officers located and arrested a 48-year-old woman at approximately 8:30 a.m.

“Upon arrival, an adult woman was arrested and a man was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries,” Const. Sandasha Bough said.

The victim remains in hospital and police say there is no risk to public safety.
